Need to be prepared to "surf" the quilt to avoid shrinkage causing overstitching.
Design Elements in the pattern require the use of a huge number of jump stitches, which will be a lot of tie on and tie offs.
This pattern is designed so that after it is done stitching, you lay down the backing fabric, face down, and let it stitch the final round of "boundary". This stitches the scallops, too. Then, you trim 1/4" away from that stitching line, clip the points and curves, and turn right side out. Close the turn gap with a whip stitch.
